Guyana 4-Days Tour
You will be met on arrival from Nickerie on the ferry service and transferred
by bus for a one-hour ride to the New Amsterdam marina where you will cross the
Berbice River aboard another ferry. There then follows a scenic road journey
passing through colourful villages en route to Georgetown. After an early
morning Georgetown City Tour which highlights places of interest such as
beautiful colonial buildings, our local zoo and Botanical Gardens, you relax for
the rest of the evening.
The following day a flight over virgin rainforest and
endless rivers will take you to the majestic Kaieteur Falls which at 741ft -
over five times the height of Niagra - is considered one of the wonders of the
world. The fabulous orange Cock of the rock and Golden Frog are a few of the
colourful inhabitants of this unique eco-system. Orinduik Falls on the Brazilian
border cascades over steps of jasper and you can enjoy an incredible water
massage under the waterfall and a refreshing dip before you return to
Georgetown.
